The Municipal Library of Lodz is a new organization, formed from the merger of five district libraries. We have been operating since January 2018 and we are the largest cultural institution in Lodz and the second largest library network in Poland.

We are working on modernizing our services and adapting the offer of libraries to the needs of today's readers, which is why we organize cultural events, promote reading, educate and use new media. We create space for the activities of our readers and support grassroots initiatives, because the library is in our assumption a place integrating the local community.

In addition to collecting, processing and sharing books and multimedia (audiobooks), we are involved in many other ventures - educational and cultural.
