On May 21, 2025, the Consul of the Australian Consulate-General in Shanghai visited the Hangzhou Public Library. During the tour, the delegation engaged in cultural activities, including immersive experiences in the HiFi music appreciation room and the calligraphy and painting room. A highlight of the visit was the International Exchange Zone, which showcases collections of books donated over the years by the Australian Consulate-General as well as contributions from sister libraries in over ten countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Italy.
