The Art Theme Branch of Hangzhou Public Library, located in Block F, No. 459, Jianghong Road, Binjiang District of Hangzhou, was officially unveiled on May 6, 2021, which was jointly built by Hangzhou Public Library and Hermit Sound (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. The number of book collections is 10000, including literature, music, art, travel, economy, language and children’s books.
The first and second floors of the library are open to the public all year round. The fifth floor is activity area and open to the public by reservation. The library displays antique works of art such as the wooden Buddha of the Tang Dynasty, the Buddha head of the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Kesi Thangka of the Qing Dynasty. In the library, an appreciation space equipped with Hermit Hi-end system is divided into three listening rooms of different sizes, displaying five sets named after "Panda, Panda plus, Crane Dance, Phoenix Sing and Dragon Chant" respectively. In the future, various forms of free activities will be carried out for the public, such as music appreciation, theater performance, poetry reading, cultural lectures, parent-child interaction, cultural and creative products display and so on.
