The Nature Theme Branch Library is the first natural-themed one in Zhejiang Province, jointly established by Hangzhou Public Library and Hangzhou Botanical Garden. After upgrading and renovating its facilities, it officially opened in 2024. It is a comprehensive library that integrates book lending, scientific research, science popularization education, cultural exchange, and other functions. The Nature Theme Branch specializes in collecting books on natural sciences, housing nearly 20000 volumes of natural science books, covering a wide range of botanical guides, popular science books on animals and plants, picture books, and more. Located within Hangzhou Botanical Garden, the Nature Theme Branch boasts a beautiful natural environment, creating a reading paradise for citizens and nature enthusiasts who can immerse themselves in the sea of books while getting close to nature. At the same time, we have combined the Nature Theme Branch with the Plant Science Popularization Museum, allowing readers to enjoy related physical science popularization exhibitions while reading, thus gaining comprehensive knowledge.
