On June 7th, 2019, during the Dragon Boat Festival, a dialogue between the East and the West, oil paintings and traditional Chinese paintings, Chinese artists and Italian artists were staged in Hangzhou Public Library, attracting more than 180 audiences, which added a new meaning to the traditional festival.
The “Renaissance•European Architecture and Art Tour” invited Professor Zhang Libin, former president of the Zhejiang University of Technology, and Fabio Piscopo, the Italian master painter to be the main speakers, who introduced the western architectural art and the representative paintings of the Renaissance and the stories behind them, setting off the first climax of the activity.
It was not only a lecture, but also an exhibition and an exchange of the Chinese and foreign arts. More than ten artists from Zhejiang province brought their painting there and shared their views with the audience, which brought another sensation.
