In recent years, Hangzhou Public Library has increased the numbers of its staff members going abroad for work exchange and bringing new experiences, either through international conferences, staff exchange programs or international training programs.
15 people divided into 6 groups have been arranged aboard in 2017. Two groups back from Next Library 2017 and 83rd IFLA WLIC 2017 shared their experiences, attracting around 30 people. The audience were especially impressed by the introduction of the innovative measures by Aarhus Library and the IFLA Global Vision program.
