The concert “The Best among the Best”, including performances of Guitar, Violoncello and New Melodies and the workshop of “Appreciation of Peabody Classical Music Works” were separately held on Jan. 6 and Jan. 7. These two activities attracted a great many music enthusiasts.
Peabody Conservatory, which is the oldest conservatory in the USA, occupies an extremely important position in the field, gathering a big batch of world-class educators, performers and most talented young classical musicians.
Mofan Lai, the project leader of Dean Award of Peabody Conservatory, chaired the concert. Hongjun Kuang, classic guitar player, Liu Hang, violoncellist, both the young artists from Peabody Conservatory, were the main performers of the show.
The whole concert lasted for more than an hour and ended in the big applause of all attendees.
