Nowadays, with the rapid development of urban industrialization, the social environment in which mankind depends for survival is facing various challenges. The environment problems such as the greenhouse effect, soil desertification, water pollution, forest vegetation coverage reduction and rare species decline are threatening human beings. In conjunction with the Hangzhou Tech Week, Environment Protection Branch Library（Address: 90 Linban Road, inside Hangzhou Environmental Group）played movies of environmental themes during the National Day. The Day after Tomorrow, Happy Feet and March of the Penguins were separately played on October 1, 2 and 4. We hope that more people will improve their consciousness of environmental protection through this kind of events.
