"West Lake-Sun Moon Lake" Two Lake Forum was a platform for exchanges between Hangzhou and Nantou in various fields such as investment, education, cultural creativity, employment and etc. The eighth forum was successfully held in Hangzhou. “Reading and Mind Shaping” session was a part of the Forum held in Women Activities Center in the afternoon on October 18. More than 50 people from culture institutions, libraries and other fields attended the forum. Lin Rongsen, director of Cultural Affairs Bureau of Nantou County, Niu Jun, director of Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV, Film, Press and Publication chaired the session which divided into two parts: keynote speeches and panel discussion. Deng Xiangyang, litterateur from Nantou, Liu Yuhu, section chief of Cultural Affairs Bureau of Nantou County, Wang Zhecheng, litterateur from Hangzhou, and Chu Shuqing, director of Hangzhou Public Library respectively delivered their speeches while the panel discussion conducted in a much relaxed atmosphere, mainly discussing on topics of “comprehensive reading”, “social reading”, “social cooperation” and “digital reading”.
