Qiushi Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for Celebrating the Upcoming Event of G20 Group Summit

Qiushi Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition hosted by Hangzhou Qiushi Calligraphy and Painting Club opened on July 17.

Hangzhou Qiushi Calligraphy and Painting Club gather together lots of amateurs of calligraphy and painting, who come from every walk of life. Most of them are elder people, who devoted themselves on calligraphy and painting after their retirement, and always active in cultural activities. With the support of Hangzhou Public Library, Hangzhou Qiushi Calligraphy and Painting Club hold their calligraphy and painting exhibition every year. In order to celebrate the upcoming event of G20 Group Summit, Qiushi Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition was held in Hangzhou Public Library, with 70 pieces of works displayed. On the opening day, more than 100 viewers were attracted by the exhibition. A visitor said that “Hangzhou Public Library is spreading positive energy. Look! These works created by the elder people are comparable to the masterpieces by famous artists. ”
