The Debut of Young Artists is a series of activities jointly hosted by Hangzhou Public Library and City Express. Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition by Zhao Litian, Li Qianyun, Shen Jiachen and Yu Wangtao, attracted about 700 visitors from June 1 to 12.
Zhao Litian, Li Qianyun, Shen Jiachen and Yu Wangtao come from different schools, but the same hobby bring them together. Jiang Yumei, winner of outstanding educator award issued by Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Education, is their tutor. Starting from zero, depending on their effort, and accumulating bit by bit, they draw better each day.
40 artworks on displayed were all created by themselves. Though the works were not comparable with those from real artists at present, but their future was bright. As outstanding students，they were “shining stars” among their peers not only in painting, but also in studying. Affected by the traditional Chinese culture, they absorb these Chinese elements into their blood and bones.
