Since the establishment of China-CEEC Libraries Union, the Secretariat and China Library Weekly has jointly set up a Central and Eastern Europe column, introducing library developments in CEEC to Chinese colleagues. In the past year, great progress has been made, with 10 related articles published in this column.

We are hoping to further work on it this year, by presenting articles of in-depth study focusing on specific aspects, to give more insight into the library development in your countries.

At this moment, we sincerely invite Union members to work together contributing to this column. The article can be written in Chinese or English (we will help with the translation if it is written in English). The length of the article should be 1,500-3,000 Chinese characters or 2,000-4,500 English words. The Editor reserves the right to abridge and edit submitted texts, as well as to change their titles.

As a reminder, the content could be related to the following points:
(1) Library development strategies and trends;
(2) New initiatives for libraries in the digital age;
(3) Advanced experience and excellent cases of library reading  promotion;

(4) Introduction to the library's special collections;

(5) History, direction and experience of library international exchange;

(6) New measures of library employee training;

(7) Any other things you want to recommend.

If you are interested, please send your paper to alibi_jo@163.com.
