40 years ago, Boston and Hangzhou signed a sister city agreement. On May 1st, 2022 (local time) a 40th anniversary celebration of the Boston-Hangzhou sister city agreement was held at Boston Children’s Museum in the USA. With the guidance of Hangzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism, Hangzhou Public Library actively participated in this event. Books from our library displaying nature landscape and historical culture of Hangzhou city were carefully selected and arrived at the museum on time with the mission to tell the stories of Hangzhou city as well as Chinese culture.
