Signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between Hangzhou Public Library and Milan Public Libraries Launched Successfully

On Oct. 13rd, signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between Hangzhou Public Library and Milan Public Libraries launched in Hangzhou Public Library successfully. A warm ceremony was held to welcome 2 exchange librarians—Guido ROSCI and Matteo Maria COLOMBO from Milan. The Italian guests also brought the sincere greetings from Mr. Stefano Parise, general director of Milan Public Libraries. This precious moment of signing ceremony was witnessed by almost 20 colleagues from different departments of HPL.

Guido ROSCI and Matteo Maria COLOMBO just started their 3-week stay in Hangzhou, as a part of our staff exchange program. In November, there would be a presentation of the Milan-Hangzhou partnership to the Chinese community in Milan to highlight this cooperation. In the next four years, two parties will exchange books, journals, as well as staff members. More cultural events and technological cooperation will be expected. We are convinced that the cooperation will not only benefit both libraries but also contribute to all citizens.
